Vinod Sharma

(b. 1952) is a contemporary Indian landscape artist whose paintings are characterised by quietness, atmosphere and a profound sensitivity towards the natural environment. Mountains, rocks and expansive landscapes become subjects through which he explores stillness, distance and the changing qualities of light. His restrained palette and finely layered surfaces create a sense of timelessness within his compositions.

Sharma studied at Delhi College of Art and Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. His artistic career has been recognised through several honours. His works continue to reflect a deeply contemplative engagement with landscape, where nature becomes not merely a subject but a space for reflection and solitude.
