Siddharth Shingade

Artist

(b. 1983, Latur, Maharashtra) is a contemporary Indian artist whose paintings draw deeply from rural life, memory and the landscapes of Marathwada. Farmers, women, village communities and everyday experiences become central subjects within his compositions, often appearing alongside elements of mythology and imagination. His earthy palette and richly worked surfaces lend his paintings a sense of warmth and emotional depth.

Shingade studied at L.S. Raheja School of Art and Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai. His practice reflects an enduring connection with the people and landscapes that shaped his early life. Through his distinctive figurative language, he transforms memories of rural India into contemporary narratives of resilience, community and human experience.
