is a contemporary Indian artist whose paintings transform familiar architectural elements into evocative reflections on memory and time. Doors, windows, locks and weathered walls recur in his works, drawing attention to the quiet character of old homes and disappearing neighbourhoods. Inspired by the surroundings of his childhood, his compositions carry a strong sense of nostalgia while celebrating the textures and colours of everyday life.
Krishnan completed his BFA from the Government College of Fine Arts, Kumbakonam, followed by an MFA from the Government College of Fine Arts, Chennai. By elevating ordinary architectural details into subjects of contemplation, his practice preserves fragments of personal and collective memory.
