Samir Mohanty

(b. 1989, Odisha) is a contemporary Indian artist whose practice explores memory, nature and the fragile relationship between human experience and the environment. His works often emerge from a quiet observation of everyday surroundings, combining organic forms, atmospheric spaces and delicate details. Through painting and mixed-media processes, he creates contemplative compositions that speak of transition, impermanence and the passage of time.

Mohanty completed his BFA in Painting from Utkal University of Culture and his MFA in Painting from the University of Hyderabad. His works reflecting an evolving practice that brings together personal memory, natural forms and contemporary concerns.
