(b. 1989, Baruva, Andhra Pradesh) is a contemporary Indian artist whose conceptual and surrealistic paintings explore power, authority, human behaviour, and the structures that shape everyday life. His works often employ familiar objects such as chairs, sofas, and animals as symbolic elements within larger psychological and social narratives.
These seemingly ordinary objects become clues through which the artist examines relationships of power and social behaviour. His large-scale compositions create layered spaces in which everyday imagery acquires metaphorical significance, encouraging the viewer to look beyond the literal.
Raju completed his BFA from Andhra University and MFA in Painting from the Government College of Arts and Crafts, West Bengal. His practice creates a compelling dialogue between ordinary objects, social structures, human psychology, and the complexities of contemporary existence.
