(b. 1982, Nagpur) is a contemporary Indian artist known for his distinctive charcoal portraits and sensitive exploration of the feminine form. His practice evolved from an early engagement with landscape and illustration towards a highly individual visual language centred on women, expression, and emotional stillness.
His charcoal works are characterised by bold yet controlled lines, dramatic tonal contrasts, and minimalist compositions. The closed eyes of his figures often create an atmosphere of introspection and meditation, while delicate motifs such as butterflies introduce an element of fragility and poetic symbolism. His practice explores the meeting point between portraiture, silence, femininity, and inner contemplation.
