(b. 1984, Maharashtra) is a contemporary Indian artist whose practice draws from the rural landscapes and village environments that shaped his childhood. His paintings transform village architecture, homes, trees, and clustered settlements into vibrant and atmospheric compositions.
Working predominantly in acrylic, Ghodke creates abstracted villagescapes in which colour becomes an important carrier of mood and memory. Greens, blues, reds, and earthy tones come together to evoke both the beauty of rural surroundings and the changing relationship between communities and their natural environment.
He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Drawing and Painting from L.S. Raheja School of Art, Mumbai. His work frequently reflects upon the beauty of rural India while subtly acknowledging environmental change. His villagescapes become visual memories of place, belonging, nature, and a rural world in transition.
