Manisha Agrawal

Artist

(b. 1989) is a contemporary Indian visual artist whose practice is rooted in ecological awareness and the increasingly fragile relationship between human beings and the natural world. Her works examine the disappearance of flora and fauna and the environmental transformations taking place around us.

Her highly detailed compositions draw attention to extinction, environmental degradation, and the silent loss of biodiversity. Through meticulous observation and an intricate visual language, Agrawal transforms ecological concerns into contemplative images that encourage the viewer to reconsider humanity’s relationship with nature.

She completed her BFA and MFA in Painting from the Government Fine Arts College, Indore, Her solo projects include Vanishing Beauty, Shelter, and Amidst It All. Her practice continues to create a thoughtful dialogue between beauty and disappearance, nature and human intervention, and observation and environmental responsibility.
