(b. 1972, Ujjain) is a contemporary Indian artist whose practice explores the subtle relationships between nature, spirituality, memory, and human experience. Her abstract works are distinguished by their atmospheric surfaces, layered textures, and meditative colour palettes.
Kathe works with acrylics and unconventional materials including handmade papers, tissue, and medical gauze, creating richly textured surfaces that suggest organic forms and shifting states of consciousness. Nature remains an important source of inspiration, while her compositions often evoke ideas of inner beauty, cosmic energy, transformation, and the cycles of existence.
She completed her Master’s degrees in Drawing and Painting and Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology from Vikram University, Ujjain, and subsequently earned a PhD. Her works have been exhibited extensively in India and internationally. Her practice unfolds as a quiet meditation on nature, spirituality, transformation, and the intangible dimensions of human experience.
