(b. 1987, Bihar) is a modern Indian painter who explores women’s empowerment, nature, and cultural roots. Born in Bihar and currently based in Bhopal, her artwork blends traditional folk art with bold, modern themes.
Her style focuses on strong female figures decorated with natural symbols like flowers, birds, and fish. She often uses a playful, storytelling approach by putting animal heads, like lions or foxes, onto human bodies to show the fierce and resilient qualities of women. Her paintings use bright, striking colors to celebrate the deep connection between humans and the natural world.
Kumari earned a Bachelor’s degree from the College of Arts and Crafts, Patna University, and a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from Gwalior. Her talent has earned her several notable honors, including the H.K. Kejriwal Young Artist Award and the Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation Award.
Her work has been featured in major exhibitions across India, including prominent galleries in New Delhi and Mumbai. Her playful, story-driven canvases bring an uplifting and powerful presence to modern art collections
