(b. 1973, Maharashtra) is a contemporary Indian painter known for his peaceful depictions of rural life and childhood innocence. Based in Mumbai, his work celebrates the traditional attire and cultural roots of India’s village communities.

His style pairs large, smooth blocks of background color with highly detailed human figures. Working in acrylics and oils, he relies on a warm palette of saffron, deep blue, and rustic orange. His paintings frequently show village children, musicians, and local characters with calm, quiet expressions.

Panchal completed his art diploma at Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune, in 1997, and pursued advanced training at the historic Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai, in 1998. He is a recipient of the prestigious Maharashtra State Art Award.

His artwork is widely showcased in exhibitions across India and international art capitals. His iconic figures offer a powerful sense of cultural nostalgia, making his work a timeless centerpiece for sophisticated spaces.
